This exponent of the genus Bolborynchus
is truly a little diffused and known parakeet in Europe. Personally
of it I have met only a pair near a Belgian breeder and he does
not turn out to me is itself reproduced.
Lenght: 17 centimeter
Distribution: Perù and Bolivia
Natural diet: seeds, buds, fruit, berries and vegetal matter.
Description: They often
come confused with the female of the aurifrons margaritae and
rubrirostris from which they acknowledge endured for the short
tail.
The female is more yellowish of the male
and have designs less marks.
