The
genus comprises some small parakeets fromthe sub continent sud
american with a small spout, mainly
green coloration
and not noisy.
The members are original
of themountains
of Perų, Chile, and Colombia excluded the lineolate that
in the nominal species is
reperibile in Mexico, Panama and Venezuela.
The dimensions vary
from the 15 cm of the lineoled to the 20 of aymara, but with a
tail of approximately 5 cm .
